Born and raised as the youngest of five kids in New York City, Mathias Altman-Kurosaki is a 2018 graduate of Bard High School Early College (Manhattan Campus) and currently is a sophomore, journalism and professional writing major at The College of New Jersey.

He has previously contributed works for The Signal and is a junior MLB writer for a sports blog called Overtime Heroics. Mathias is also a member of the TCNJ Men’s Swim Team.

During his free time, Mathias enjoys following his favorite sports teams and athletes. He is an avid fan of the New York Mets, Pittsburgh Steelers, and New York Knicks. In addition, he is an intense player of fantasy baseball and football.
